Sun., Jan. 17, 2 pm History of Field's CornerJeffrey Gonyeau of Historic Boston Incorporated, who is a Director of the Dorchester Historical Society, will present a slide program on the history of Fields Corner featuring new material discovered, through its Historic Neighborhood Centers program, a collaborative project of Historic Boston, Field's Corner Main Street, and Viet-AID. Together these groups are constructing a vision for the futureof Fields Corner, concentrating on the rehabilitation and re-use of historic buildings and the preser vation of the district's unique architectural character.
