MyDotTour of Field's Corner, Saturday, June 5th at 10 am and 1 pm
TheSociety has teamed up with mytown Inc., Historic Boston Incorporated, Field's Corner Main Street, VACA, Dotwell and the Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition to train youth guides to give tours of Field's Corner.

The Dorchester Historical Society participates in the mytour Collaborative in encouraging teens to prepare walking tours of Field's Corner. Teens are paid for their work and are critiqued by their peers.

The Dorchester Historical Society is the fiscal sponsor and member of the Edward Everett Square committee, supporting efforts to reconfigure the square and install plantings and public art.

A huge bronze replica of the Clap's Favorite Pear was installed in Edward Everett Square as part of the public art.
